Robina Town Centre, QIC

Over an 18 month period we delivered a series of activations to mark the 20th birthday of Robina Town Centre. We transformed centre court into a rainforest, installing hundreds of living plants and trees, installed a dreamy tepee village in the outdoor precinct and the whole centre was adorned by floral installations. But our proudest moment of this event was Aurora. Aurora, a 15 metre tall aluminium tree, is adorned with more than 1500 tiny interactive light globes. She came to Robina all the way from Burning Man festival in San Francisco and took 4 days and 4 nights to install. The tree is interactive, and families were invited to download the app to control the colour of the tree. By day the white aluminium leaves (all 879 of them) chimed in the wind. Aurora attracted everyone from families to first dates… the media even showed up a few times!
