Change The Course
BRIEF
In partnership with American Express Delicious Month Out and Two Good Co., Darling Quarter wanted to host an al fresco dining experience in the newly refurbished Civic Connector. This event was designed to round off the American Express Delicious Month Out’s month-long program. Targeted at corporate workers and Sydney foodies, the goal was to create a unique dining experience that included dining infrastructure, furniture, styling, theming, signage, staffing, and entertainment. The lunch was ticketed, with proceeds from ticket sales raising life-changing funds for women living in crisis.
RESPONSE
Bringing the precinct to life, we installed a stunning white marquee to protect from the elements. Underneath, a long line of tables was adorned with soft linen textures, bespoke florals, citrus styling, and custom In The Roundhouse plates. The creative design seamlessly integrated all three stakeholders’ branding, creating a vibrant visual feast carried through all elements. Customers were treated to a delectable three-course meal prepared by some of Australia’s most celebrated chefs, including Alanna Sapwell-Stone, Mike McEnearney, and Maggie Beer. These culinary masterpieces, paired with organic and biodynamic wines from Lowe Family Wine Co. and zero-alcohol alternatives from NON, made for an unforgettable experience. Alanna and Mike also joined us for an inspiring panel discussion with Two Good Co.’s General Manager Kyle Westgarth and hosted by Delicious Month Out’s Editor-in-Chief Krysia Bonkowski. The event was further elevated by two incredible sets from the Hot Potato Band, which got everyone on their feet!
