Crown Melbourne approached us to elevate their annual Easter Cash Draw by crafting a captivating atmosphere with theming and styling that aligned with the ‘Mad Hatters Tea Party’ theme, seamlessly integrating the whimsical elements into the event while maintaining a connection to Easter through the inclusion of the white rabbit character and Easter bunny.

Embarking on the task of reimagining Melbourne’s metropolis, we curated a bespoke experience that transported guests into an immersive Wonderland, featuring a contemporary take on the iconic Mad Hatter’s tea party. Event spaces underwent a remarkable transformation, characterized by rich red draping, intricate gold rope detailing, and custom lighting. The Keyhole entry arch, adorned with a kaleidoscopic checkerboard print, 3D roses, and butterflies, served as the entrance to this enchanting experience—a tribute to the literary themes of Alice in Wonderland.
The main function room sustained the thematic journey, incorporating elevated lighting and carefully curated soundscapes that seamlessly complemented magical entertainment performances, inviting guests into the Mad Hatter’s immersive experience. Tables featured moss runners, vintage books, teacups, pots, butterflies, and vibrant florals, ensuring a unique and immersive dining experience for every guest. The stage, mirroring the entry arch with a custom warped checkerboard print, contributed to the immersive atmosphere, captivating all attendees with the magic of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.
